Mission Statement

The mission of the DAVIS ISLANDS CHAMBER OF COMMERCE, INC., is to promote the economic improvement of the Davis Islands region by encouraging the most effective use of both private and public resources. We will strive to support the Davis Islands businesses to the best of our ability by listening to their needs, helping in any way possible to aid in the growth and stability of the Davis Islands businesses and providing a common voice on business issues to the City/State/Federal authorities.

Bill Sharpe is the President of the Tampa Marketing Company. The company is the owner of the Davis Islands Community News and numerous websites including TampaGold.com, TimeOutTampa.com, and SOHOTampa.com. Prior to that time he was a Sales Counsultant for Lazy Days RV’s.

Bill is a graduate of the Leadership St. Petersburg and Leadership Tampa Bay programs. He has been a Tampa resident for over 6 years.

Michele has spent the last 10 years honing her skills in Marketing and Business Systems Development.  Her specialty is helping small local companies define their vision and market themselves. She proudly works with several Davis Islands' businesses as well as international mid-size companies and artisans.

Currently she is expanding her knowledge base while helping to grow a local office of the global company Bureau Veritas. The firm is focused on offering the local business community excellent options for Quality Assurance, Health, Safety, & Environmental services.

Jennifer and her husband Cristan founded Wag Pet Emporium to provide owners with the highest quality of natural products and knowledge to extend the joy their pets will bring. “We believe as a business owner we have a responsibility to the community, to give back directly, whether through dollars, time or awareness.” says Jennifer. As Past President, she provided fine guidance and leadership to the DICC for the past two years.
